Rubén Armañanzas Rubén started off his dance instruction in San Sebastián (Spain) in 2000. As a result of the combination between dance and athlete activity, he reached a high knowledge over the body mechanicals. His training as a tango dancer took place within Joseba Pagola & Bakartxo Arabaolaza dance school.

In Buenos Aires he complemented his training with first-level couples like Sebastián Posadas & Eugenia Eberhardt, Gonzalo Alonso & Mariel Robles and Jose Halfon & Virginia Cutillo. He performed tango exhibitions in some Spanish cities like San Sebastián, Pamplona or Vitoria.

Before moving to Madrid, he taught tango classes in several dance academies of the north of Spain. He has also attended classes with international couples like Pablo Villarraza & Dana Frigoli, Sebastián Arce & Mariana Montes, Martín Gutiérrez & Carolina Pizzo or Chicho Frúmboli & Juana Sepúlveda, among others.
